Spain offers a great depth and variety of locations and cultures in close proximity to each other. In the winter, you can film beach scenes in Costa del Sol, then drive for two hours and shoot in the snow, drive another hour and a half and shoot in the desert where the Spaghetti Westerns were shot in the 70′s. Spain has an excellent climate for filmmakers who are in need of guaranteed sunshine all year round. midday temperatures from March to June are around 28ºC. In July and August, the temperature regularly reaches 40ºC, September & November are around 25ªC, even from December till February coastal temperatures can reach 20 to 25º, perfect for outdoor shoots!.

There are more days of sunshine than most other parts of Europe (an average 320 days of the sunshine per year) and winters are milder. In a lot of cases, the mere fact that the sun is out and the sky is blue makes any film maker feel better about their day!.
